How long does a website take?
A simple one-page site is usually about a week. A full multi-section business site is typically two to three weeks — the main variable is how quickly we get your content and photos together. You’ll get a clear timeline before we start.
Do I actually own my site?
Completely. The code, the content, and the domain are yours — no proprietary platform you’re renting, no lock-in. If we ever part ways, you keep everything and can take it anywhere.
What does it cost to keep it running?
A domain runs about $15/year, and hosting is free for most small-business sites — but if your traffic or features grow, the host (Netlify) may move you to a paid monthly plan. I’ll always flag that ahead of time, and I never mark it up. If you’d rather not think about any of it, there’s an optional care plan that covers hosting, backups, and small edits for a flat monthly rate.
Can I update it myself?
Yes — the Business tier includes a simple self-edit setup so you can change text, photos, and hours without touching code or calling anyone.
What if I need changes down the road?
Two easy options: one-off edits billed as needed, or a monthly care plan if you want ongoing tweaks handled. No long contracts either way.
Do you build apps too?
Yes. Alongside websites I build web and mobile apps — things like booking, quotes, or tools built around how your business actually runs.
Do we have to meet in person?
I’m based in Harrisburg, PA and happy to meet locally, but everything can be done remotely too. Most projects run on a couple of quick calls plus email.
